+1 for Motul, I find the Hi Flo filters to be pretty good. Worst type so far has been the OEM ones Ducati have supplied in the past.
Yup, gives me good excuse for a run over there. The K&N filters with the nut on them are not infallible as the nut can come off the outer case of the filter and then you're in the same situation as if you had bought the normal filter
After due consideration I'm going to let Baines drop the oil out so he can have a good look at what drops out! I expect it's only 1/2 hour for him and I'd rather start on a clean slate. I will do it from then on. Thanks all
