Yes, something nice about buying a bike thats grotty and having plenty of scope to make it nice again.
Its been sat in storage with some other bikes and classic cars for a few years as the guy works away quite a lot.

The decal on the fairing is wrong. If you zoom in, you can see that desmoquattro is o the left of 996 - when it should be to the right
Got the bike, it’s absolutely filthy! Going to take some work, but that’s the part that always sucks me in The good news is that nothing is seized, throttle moves smoothly, forks are nice and smooth and brakes all work. So looks a lot worse than it is. I’ll set up a project thread once I get started on it
I might be wrong, but I don’t think he viewed it. I was told today that I was the only person that had been to see the bike.. the bloke was/is a nightmare to get hold of!
