Had the 998 fired up today and it sounds amazing with the 50mm termis, and seems to rev like a two stroke compared to my old 748 desmoquattro . TPS set ,new belts fitted,can't wait for a ride out as soon as my paintwork is finished.
Good job on the forks. After years of owning bikes it's one of the few jobs i never get involved in. Too scared.
Cheers,it's a messy job but a nice bit of satisfaction once its done. jobs left to complete... front caliper s to fit&bleed. air box to secure . wiring to check & reroute as req,d.(I've only fired it up off jump leads with a car battery so far) fit a charge socket. Chase up my painter about my nose cone . O and I best get an M.O.T on it as well .
