  2. Hope he makes it, I’d hate this sale to be the first one stopped by climate change!

PS I hope that you will remain on the forum post sale OR.

  9. Well he did show up but started nitpicking for reasons to drop his offer back to 4,500.
I told him I wanted to stick to my guns, having already dropped £500.00
    It’s therefore still for sale.

  10. No matter Old Rider, in a few weeks the sun will be shining (occasionally), average daily temps will be up and you will have to beat buyers off with a stick. You did the right thing.

  11. too right, how do things stand with "full price" person - can you get onto them or have you burnt your boats now?

  13. No I didn’t burn my boats.
He’s going to ring me when he gets home.
If he falls away, I will send the dash off to Motomatrix to get a new red key sorted, as that is a potential stumbling block.

  14. that's crazy that the man with the van would go to all that effort, nit-pick and go home empty vanded.

  15. He even brought his wife.
I don’t think she was best pleased he’d wasted her time.

  17. I think I related a similar tale on here when selling a 748. The buyer had assumed it was his right to lower the price on arrival with van as he'd decided that it should be my goodwill gesture despite me telling him that I had 2 other buyers on standby at that price. He bought the bike but was angry and hostile for the remainder of the negotiation. What is wrong with people sometimes ?

  18. Surprisingly, he did say to let him know if the full price guy falls away. I did wonder if they would come back a few minutes later but no

  19. Nevermind, let's get this to 20 :upyeah:
