Well he did show up but started nitpicking for reasons to drop his offer back to 4,500. I told him I wanted to stick to my guns, having already dropped £500.00 It’s therefore still for sale.

I think I related a similar tale on here when selling a 748. The buyer had assumed it was his right to lower the price on arrival with van as he'd decided that it should be my goodwill gesture despite me telling him that I had 2 other buyers on standby at that price. He bought the bike but was angry and hostile for the remainder of the negotiation. What is wrong with people sometimes ?
