  5. Fosters = Camel piss :tongueclosed:

  6. worked for a trucking company 30 years ago in NZ. 2 of the trucks were done in fosters livery, for which the boss got 4 pallets of the shit every year. Everyone knows what thieving, beer drinkin mongrels the kiwis are but the fosters never got touched...

  8. I quite liked Carlton Cold when I went to Bathurst in 1993, so much so I didn't know who won until I got back to NZ, 2 days later. ( Larry Perkins/Gregg Hansford)

  9. Did you ever go over for the bikes when they were still there Dave?

Great party on the hill :)

  10. No, only been the once, fuckin' great place for a piss up, Township and Track, I was there 6 days, ate 4 times and was pissed all the time, made a fool of myself at the Mayors Ball, people were great and very accommodating and understanding considering they were invaded by 10,000's of drunken idiots, there was 24 of us on our tour, we rented 2 large houses for the duration, owner kept the food stocked up but we hardly ate any of it. Had a fantastic time and completely changed my opinion of Aussies.

  11. Never been to see the cars but can imagine it been a great weekend.

The Bathurst riots put a stop to the bike racing there some time ago unfortunately :-(.

Anyway, come on Crème get some update pics happening.

  12. Moving on from larger....

Today I found an hour to fit the SA (twice as I forgot to fit the plastic caps behind the engine the 1st time).

Colour may divide opinions but I never really liked the contrast of the dark grey and have a spare I can fit it I change my mind. The closer picture is truer to real life. It's somewhere between the standard chain adjusters and the frame.

  14. Found an hour in daylight with no rain to have a go at the pipe with a mop. Not coming up great. VHT paint it is I think........

  15. pics dude... What pipe?

  16. take it to a polisher. Spent about 8 hrs on the 748 pipes and thought they came up pretty good till I got the mid pipes done by a pro. Polishing is pretty cheap to get done

  18. True, but it's partly the ball ache of taking/ collect and polished pipes are a pain to keep shinning. Might ceramic coat or enamel coat. Think black would suit a lot with the rest of the bike. Not sure.....
