  2. I like the coloured blue hoses.
But I agree that grips that shout "RENTHAL" are a bit over the top.

    Don't they do quieter ones?

  3.
No.... they're just covers to keep the grips clean! The grips are light grey, they're super sticky race grips so they attract dirt/dust like sh!t to a blanket. They only come in grey and different thicknesses.

  4. They look like sex toys, Shaun. Not that I know about such things...

The previous black and red Pro-grips you had are just the ticket, in my view. Oddly, they are the same as on my black R... Have you been looking at my bike...?!

  5. That's all a bit Henry Ford in this day and age, isn't it? Any colour you like so long as it's grey. Like that'll go with anything.
Oh hang on, you can advertise our brand massively with our super dust covers!

There's something a bit supercross about it all.

  6. :frown: I thought they looked ok

  7. black black black... anything else disturbs the balance

  8. I agree, Koen. Absolutely. So how are you going to deal with that wonderful ProTwins race-seat you've just bagged from the classifieds? It's not black you know...!? I have one on mine. Fantastic thing. Totally changes the riding experience, even if it is rather hard. Excellent purchase. And the right money.

  9. Hi Putney, your beady eye is right! It's not an R just a 749 with carbon fairings and a bigger tank. I like carbon and the bigger tank looks better and obviously you can go further without constantly filling up. I'm on the look out for magnesium head covers, so if you know of some at a good price let me know. Out of interest do you know how much they are new then?

  10. £218. Inc Vat for the set.

  11. Thanks, that's not as much as I thought they would be bearing in mind the price they go for second hand! Are they still available then from dealers?

  12. Yes, I think so.

I'm going to get a new one for my front cylinder.

You have some lovely bits on your bike. Very similar to mine.

  13. Oh and thought I would post a picture of my mirrors. I had the carbon painted.

  14. I have a half painted set too but I wanted another set that were all carbon. I think I prefer the total carbon ones.

  15. I picked up a 999R mag head cover from Pro Twins at the weekend that they had in stock, £118 with the VAT. Just need an afternoon to fit it now. It's so so light in weight.

  16. I miss read that as Mag Head Light!!!! now that would be a bargain!!!

  17. I'm sure Sharpy told me that he only paid about £100 for his mag bucket! I've called several dealers to see if they have one lurking around in their stockrooms but no luck. The closest I got was a dealer saying they were showing one in stock but they couldn't find it  you just know that some where some one has a brand spanking new one sitting at the back of a shelf in a box. That's what I keep telling myself anyway! So the search continues.
