I agree it may but...................... its all good at the moment . Rode the B660 from Bedford to Ramsey and back last night so it got a good work out if you know what i mean . Fork leg dry not much traffic , a pig in the sky , but we spotted him . The weather , the road , the bike and the moment made it a really momorable ride , especially as it wasnt planned , just a last min txt from a mate and no family pressure after work . Saw 1 other bike and not many commuters , there was a transit van doing between 80 and 90 for a stretch but obviously we had to let him carry on being reckless ! Van drivers hah!
Did mine last night, so fingers crossed! Used a piece of grease proof paper and slid it up between the seal to clean, thinner than the seal tool you can buy...plus its free. Didnt have any red rubber grease so just used a very very thing smear of LM on a craft paint brush round the base of the seal. Hopefully done the trick.
noticed rhs leg weeping on mine - been on and off trailer for track days. often the issue with ratchet straps. Service tomorrow so having done at the same time. Belts too so gonna be pricey.
