Thanks for the reply, Picked up barrels after rebore so top end done and dropped off crankcases for aqua blasting, next job is all engine side cases to be polished then rebuild time :Bookworm:
Bit of an update, picked up a few more bits that are know finished, the engine rebuild will start when the money turns up raying:
What an amazing project - love the before and after photos! I owned a KH250 in the early 80s (red) which was my favourite bike ever - many happy hours trying to get three sets of points adjusted correctly.
Picked up the last of the polishing bits, exhaust clamps and two exhausts which needed a few dents sorting out and an internal baffle which came loose had to be cut open and welded back in place, Will drop the pipes in for chroming in the next week or two then thats the last bit of chroming:Woot:
I agree, Next step is pick up the pipes which are being chromed and should be ready first part of January, (Well so they say) when they are done its engine rebuild time with a new crank. Bloody hope the pipes come out good a lot of time/money and running around gone into them :Nailbiting: Ive been catching up with a few little jobs to tick of the list, A bit of black painting.
