Just glad to get them back,
I was very concerned that they didn't have any holes appear as they are made of thin metal.

  4. Loving this thread. I think it's amazing to see what people can do with something I'd think was fit for the skip. :upyeah:

My very 1st bike was a KH250 b2 and it look just like this:

It used to settle into a non-threatening weave if you were flat out on a sweeper. It also used to foul it's plugs so often there was a little carrier under the seat with 3 spare plugs in it. I thought it was the dogs at the time. I wonder what I'd think of it now. Happy days. :D

  5. I was always led to believe that 70/80s Jap chrome was so paper thin that it was almost impossible to restore? Looking at your pipes that was obviously total bollox???

  6. Wally,
Mine still has the plug carrier, at least i don't have to put them in my pocket,

when my mate was repairing them he mentioned they are thin, one advantage is they have a coating of two stroke oil which can help stop the rotting from the inside when abandoned/not used for many years. one problem is they can ripple when knocking out the dents
one of my pipes has a very slight one,
