Nothing humble about being a noob mate, we each have things we enjoy the detail, you have yet to get immersed in the disease called Ducati . Andy
It's great that so many are helping with inputs, personally I like it, with all it's twists and turns and I would still be very happy to have it on the drive and rag the tits off it. Sometimes personalising things is a great groin warmer but at the end of the day, if you love riding it, then it is the right bike for you and that is all that matters
If you ever get the chance, have a ride on a 1098R. It genuinely is a different animal to the 1098S and you wouldn't think they shared any of the same D.N.A. such is the brute force of the engine in the R. Mine lifts the front in 4th at 100mph with a tug on the bars, it's mad.
Thanks Guys So it would appear that my bike does indeed have an R Tank, carbon mono seat and one piece carbon undertray and the exhaust is the Race option 70mm. Really appreciate all of your input. AJ
Had the chance to clean up the SS R spec exhaust today using the old 'Harpic' trick and what a beauty she has become
I thought using bleach was a bad idea? Bleach, basically sodium hypochlorite, releases chlorine gas and that is highly corrosive, even to stainless steel. Something like that.
That's why it is only on for a few mins and rinsed off. The exhaust looks like new and I did my H2 as well which looks great. AJ
It is all from Ducati and was fitted by the previous owner, the belly pan is the one piece carbon piece the same as on the R version.
So guys we have had the uprated 330mm Brembo gold centre discs fitted and have a pair of regular 325mm black centred Brembo discs for sale. The are well over 5mm thick and the braking on my bike was incredible so are perfect. £175 shipped. Thanks Andy
