You're thinking about the same car fella. The DS had the clever lights first but the SM had the cool engine and apparently superb brakes.
Or Foster, who was always in dubious white suits, violet coloured car and far too pretty for his own good!
Sorry I have to disagree, that is one truly ugly car. But then if we all liked the same thing what a sad world it would be.
never own your dream bike or car!! i had a picture of a lancia integrale on my bedroom wall as a kid growing up then when i was old enough to insure it i bought one,oh the joy of driving it and the pain of repairing it every time you go out lol but i wouldnt want to part with it? as for the bike it would have to be a desmosedici.
French cars used to be the most comfortable cars to drive, until everything got centralised and everyone buys seats from the same wholesaler. And styling has gone the same way. A Fiat is a Citroen is a vauxhall is a Renault is a Nissan...and so on. At least older cars are individual. An old boy near me has an ancient Traction Avant; compared to it's contemporaries, it's such a beautiful car to look at, but modern mass production and badge-engineering doesn't allow for such individualism.
Blimey, that's a good one! The "only one you can have" rule makes it really tough! I think I'd go for an Audi RS6 Avant, with all the practicalities of a big estate, and I could take my dogs out with me. Not sure about which bike, cos I should have something that could carry a pillion in comfort - but I think I'd have a Panigale and Mrs CJ could take the car!
