  3. not a single mention of iwc yet? ive had an oris and they are great. ive currently got a rolex air king (late eighties vintage) for work and a ball hyrdrocarbon gmt for play that ive had for over 10 years. they dont get much press in the uk but if you like something more industrial with pedigree then perhaps worth a look. customised movements made by eta so not in house. priced similar to oris but quality is on par with some of the larger mid market prestige brands

    im keen on leather straps at the mo and really fancy a breguet!

  6. I have a Doppelchrono, like this model, I just really like this watch & TBH haven't seen anything that I think looks better

    Leather strap long gone and is now partnered with a US Nylon military strap :astonished:

  13. Update........Been to every decent watch shop in Hampshire today. Settled on a Panerai Luminor Marina 3 day auto in 44mm. Pick it up Friday as I ordered an extra strap. Thank you all for your help. Very chuffed with my choice, unlike my bank manager :cool:
