I have let him know already. He bought it with something like 50 miles on the clock and had then decals fitted to it. He ran the motor in sympathetically and never abused the bike. And genuinely, he told me it’s never been above 10,000rpm. He only sold it because he bought a Superlight and was finding himself riding that more than the 959. So he traded it for a BMW 850GS. where are you located?
That's good to know! I remember the dealer mentioning about the previous owner trading it for something a bit more upright/comfy. Over in South West London and will be taking your advice on getting it over to Alton Ducati for a service (they immediately tried to upsell me onto a V2 haha) Clear clutch cover and parts have just arrived so I'll be adding those on, just need to figure out how to get the bearing/shaft out without a 1-tonne press.
