Ta. Another brand that says they're all compatible across the various Multistradas. May have to just do a trial and error test myself at this rate!
I have a pair that I will be fitting to my 2012 Multistrada that have just been taken off my Panigale V4. That page shows they share the same part number. Andy
Okay, just spoken with a my dealer’s parts department and the front brake blade is common across the most recent Multistrada range, 1200/1260 & V4. Andy
Based on the information made available to me, yes. The V4 Street Fighter however uses a blade with a different part number. Andy
If you are close to the NE Hampshire/West Berkshire area (sort of Basingstoke/Reading) you are welcome to have a look at my TWM-SE levers. Andy
Interesting. My evotech levers have been moved from 1200R monster to 1260pp and now v4 streetfighter with no problem
My comment is from a conversation, not any actual experience. The difference in part number could simply be down to a different curve on the lever. You have now provided advice based on real life experience Andy
Tbh, I’ll probably just take the levers off my 1260 and transfer them across. Unless I sell the bike on here with everything on it, which I’m tempted to do!
Ok so I had a 2015 dvt before I got my 2021 V4s and took the evotech short levers I had on my dvt off before I traded it in. the evotech ones do fit BUT if you have radar cruise there is a second microswitch on the clutch lever bracket which the older lever wont activate, I remedied this by drilling and tapping a long m3 bolt into the evotech lever which activates the switch, 500 + miles so far and no issues. If I didn't already have the levers I would have waited until someone made updated ones but as I already had them and they owed me nothing I thought why not.
A little progress being made. Evotech Performance does show levers specific to the Multistrada V4S on their website now. Unfortunately none in stock. I still haven't found any besides CNC Racing that are V4S bike specific. I'd like to spend under $200 for a set, even though the CNC levers look extremely nice, just too expensive for me. I've been happy with Pazzo Racing in the past but no word from them yet. Any other options available? https://evotech-performance.com/col...-v4-s-folding-clutch-and-brake-lever-set-2021
My dealer has confirmed that the levers from my 1260 will fit my new V4. Did himself out of a sale as I was going to order the Rizoma ones today.
That opens up all kinds of options. If you don't mind me asking, what year is your 1260 and have you changed your V4 over to the different levers and confirmed everything on the bike works as it should including the radar cruise?
It’s a 2020 1260. I’ve not changed them over yet, but the dealer confirmed that the Rizoma part number for the levers is the same for both bikes.
Why are folk keen to change the OEM levers, is it aesthetics or function? I’m wondering if I have fomo
After reading this I did some digging on Ducati Omaha's OEM parts diagrams. The part numbers for stock clutch and brake levers for a 2020 1260S and a 2021 V4S are indeed the same. Wonder why some companies are so slow to add the V4 to their fitment list. You suppose they actually test fit their levers to a bike before they list? Interesting. Once you make the switch if you wouldn't mind posting any issues you had that would be great. Thanks!
I usually like a bigger dog leg than what's on most stock levers. I also find these OEM levers a little wider than what I'd find ideal. Not a huge deal as the stock parts are certainly usable but it's an easy and not very expensive change to make the bike suit me a little better.
Yeah it is odd that they don’t list them yet. As soon as my bike arrives I’ll get them on and report back.
