I thought the euro standards reflected emission standards.....how do fork reflectors impact on these?
Yes, as you say, the Euro standards refer to emissions. The comments were aimed at the EVAP container, my bad. I believe the Fork(side) reflectors on motorcycles will be required for UK MOT testing of motorcycles manufactured in 2017+, when some Euro legislation tightens MOT testing requirements across Europe.
I'm quite sure ducati make one but it was pricey, hopefully evotech or similar should have one for around £100 mark soonish, bu as tobers said for now its not too ugly, I've removed the crud catcher for now (3 bolts) and that has cleaned things up slightly.
Akra have released an exhaust for the DVT finally! A slip on and 'optional headers' , no clue on price but I like the look of the end can! I went on the link and I agree the end can looks pretty nice. You can access a sound comparison on there and to be honest if I couldn't see which one I was listening to I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Ok you get some improved torque and HP but would that be enough to justify the price tag? Worth a further look though although the termi supplied by Ducati is also nice.
I checked the sound comparison and I wouldn't change my termi for any of those exhausters, it has much fatter and dirtier sound.
Yeah I'm only really interested in any system with a decat pipe as that is where all the restriction is, end cans look nice but not for that price, is there sound clips of the arrow and akra decats or just the Remus end can? I can't find them if there are, there's got to be a sound difference with the de cat!
Cheap end can anyone? Not for me but can't argue with the price! http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=191653689917&globalID=EBAY-GB
Just had a look at the Gianelli exhaust mentioned above and my question is...is Gianelli owned by Arrow as their website is identical and that can looks like the Arrow GP can but cheaper? Giannelli - Ducati MULTISTRADA 1200 / 1200S 2015 Arrow - Ducati Multistrada 1200 / 1200S 2015
Hi everyone- new to this forum- looking at getting a 2015 DVT base model. Anyone know if the radiator guards and exhausts (end cans) from older multistrada's will fit this new model? Some termi's look similar to the 2015 termietc. Thanks for any advice. Never had a Duc before so complete novice on the Multis's evolution through the years and compatibility of accessories and parts etc. Hopefully be able to weigh up Rad sizes and exhaust downpipes from previous models when I visit a Duc dealer later this week.
TBH Bandit, though not going to put my life on it, but pretty well nothing is interchangeable between the 2 bikes
Hi bandit I fitted the r&g rad guard off my 10 plate to the new one. Brackets had to be bent slightly byt went on OK.

I am told that Ducati may well be making a Tyre pressure sensor for the bike which would mean the dash warning lights would flash on low pressure - really easy to see. My dealer told me that they have had an update to the diagnostics system that includes a menu for Tyre Pressure Monitor. So I'm not fitting mine yet as the Ducati one will be much easier to see.
I've found some prices for the Akra's! Bad news is theyre not available to buy yet and they cost a pretty penny, still cheaper than termis and I think look cooler. http://www.tecnomoto.gr/en/show/?srt=price_ASC&make=Ducati&model=Multistrada+1200+/+1200S&c=1&sid=1 I think the full system would be the last product on the right (optional headers) with the addition of either the titanium or carbon silencer although only the carbon silencers product number lines up with the headers?
