bike broke down. 5 separate issues . only 2 are x covered. the rest had to pay for myself. whats the point having warranty which doesn't cover leaks - i don't get it. was going to have a fight with them but frankly don't have time to waste. i am sure that the idea of that company . decline everything, if they comeback we will pay but hopefully they cant be fucked. well, i cant be fucked
Had Warranty Direct on my Multi. Was lucky (real lucky) and never had to claim so can't comment there but I will say any price you are quoted is "negotiable" think they are a bit like double glazing salesmen and try to charge what they think they can get away with. I haggled and haggled then haggled some more and ended up almost halving my original quote.
Just had a look at this again myself and they have the 899 Panigale listed Thought id do a couple of experiments Each bike listed as April 2014, less than 10k miles: Panigale 899 = £441 Panigale 1199 = £441 Multi 1200 base = £441 Diavel base = £441 Monster 1200 = £441 S1000rr Sport - £220.50 Aprilia rsv4 = £441 Cbr1000rr = £220.50 ZX10r = £220.50 MV F4 1000 = £441 Yamaha R1 = £330.75 Bit of a pattern there and I'm sure if i kept going the Italian marques would all be sitting at the £400+ mark The blade i expected to see in the lower region of £200, the S1000rr equally cant be as bad as some would have you believe (volume sold vs actual issues claimed), obviously the Zx10r has always been claimed as reliable (unless you lunched gearboxes in club racing) The big bang R1 at £330.75 is a bit of a surprise but i suppose they had slightly more claims than others, just not as much as the Italians. So there you have it. Ducati's don't have the best rep with Warranty direct then
