  1. Reminds me of Benny Hill in the Italian Job.

"Wait till you see them Italian birds"

"Are they big? I like them big"

Yvette Cooper disapproves of your misogyny.

Just thank your lucky stars that she hasn’t got round to making it a terrorist offence yet o_O

  3. He-he-he, in my defence ma'am I was quoting the (perceived) misogyny of a third party....

I don't suppose this is the appropriate time to ask why you don't wish to be known as Mrs Balls.

  5. Good lord! there's enough vagueness in that to keep lawyers in clover for years.

  6. I'm on the lookout for paint colours and came across this in Alfa 'Rosso Etna'

  7. Visited the Alfa Romeo museum last week which is based where the old factory was, very impressive.

  8. i will never forget the sight of one of these pirrouetting towards me in the wet on a thankfully large and spacious roundabout in London. It did stop without contact. No slouch, i always respected them, 2 litre had a top speed of around 118 mph which was decent back then for a big saloon.

  10. While I'd love to wax lyrical about Alfas...I owned a 156 Crosswagen Q4

    upload_2024-9-4_10-10-11.png

A friend asked if I was sure before I made the purchase...and I jokingly said that when I'm broken down at the side of the motorway I want to be sitting in leather goddamnit! (The interiors were really beautiful tbf)

Oh did that joke come be true...it ran on average 4-8 weeks at a time before needing garage work done.... Never again. :(

  14. Timely, drove past an Alfa Montreal today, being transported on a trailer. Burnt orange colour, they still look good!

  18. I've been driving a metallic red beige leather interior 159 sedan for the last 14 years, so I strongly endorse this thread

  20. Haha! Me too. I’ve even been doing the type of Man Maths which almost always turns out to be a precursor to me buying a money pit.:D
