Stay Where You Are Mate , Truth Be Known It's A F*****G Shit Hole Over Here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol ............
Hi and welcome, two Ducati only days one in may one in July at two awesome gp circuits but usually persisting down so defo wets
Does the US have a lack of road surface in many areas, pot holes and road works for no reason too? Welcome to England. You'll find some great roads here all the same
Remember you need to drive/ride on the left Hello and welcome to the forum Rain will be something you will get used too As said tyres for every weather
Rain won't bother me. I used to live in the Pacific Nortwest(Seattle area) which is known for its constent rain. Riding and doing track days in the rain was a must-know-how. As long as there's no snow/ice on the ground I ride!
I used to visit St Helens OR. Where my Dad lived. The constant drizzle there, if similar to Seattle, should make you feel right at home as its much the same here at times. I quite liked Seattle.
I think I know those roads. I used to steal my Dads vette everytime i visited and blast around some fantastic windey roads. He spend a fortune on it. I ripped off his new SS exhausts one day doing a Bullit jump over a hump in the road. I loved that car.
Moving to Lakenheath??.......... There was an investigative report commissioned recently and it was aired on TV yesterday about how cost effective it would be to the US to close the base for good........so I hope your stay doesn't get cut short......... ......although why anyone from the States would want to move to the remains of the UK, I don't know.
Also, is any familiar if I will have to change or do something to my bike? I don't know exactly if U.S. models can have different emissions on them. Freestyle Motocross Gloves
If the Hyper is like the 749 you can change some of the settings via the Dash. Check the User manual and see if this is true. On mine I can select 749 US, 749 EU, 749 UK and for the 999 too. I sets the MPH/KPH, running lights etc. I don't know if it affects emissions.
