France is too fucken expensive.. get 3 pints here to 1 over there... and gas nearly 20% cheaper... that is a large chunk of holiday money fucked in France..
Spain, good well priced food, wine, beer and hotels. Fantastic roads and sunshine. What’s not to like? Wondering why I’m off to France tomorrow.
Sorry, I passed out ... so some random dude clocks my English and asked if I would like to join him and his mates... I was going to say no coz he was a weird looking fucker and I was ok on my own.. But I joined em and It was a good move.. Turns out he is some minor celebrity in this region, so I pretty much never paid for a drink in his company and got well looked after.. There was a festival type thing on last night... it was described as "around"... basically they have a big up brass band that goes around every bar in town and plays really loudly till they are told to fyck off... they are followed everywhere by hundreds of piss heads... Loud and drunken!!! It was a great laugh and I'm glad I joined in...

Breakfast had but I'm still not sure which way to go... I fancy another day here but that would make it tight for the getting to le mans via Millau, in a not to pushed rate.. Ok... after a hard fought battle with the very smiley Spanish speaking French bird at reception I have secured my room for another night... They wanted €125!!!!! I showed her the booking.com price of £65 but she said that was for a smaller room with no Jacuzzi bath (of which I have had 3 so far), so I showed her the price of £35 for a hostel 2 mins away and told her if I have to change rooms I might as well change hotels... we settled on €60 for same room... still more than I wanted to pay but no stress and no petrol today... just booze an food!!! Yay Me!!!
Now what to do? My Spanish buddy suggested joining him and his mates at the river side and getting fucked up... sounds ok but smacks a lil of date rape...
