It's probably good I didn't go to high in the mountains as the weather was a bit moist again and it was a fun ride anyway... Offa the n380? I picked up my old mate the n240... probably not the best bit of it but still ace... I went flying past a stop I had last time when I went solo and the boys went another way... Some my remember this scene... I picked up spider ducks cousin.. Your fucken out of order duck.
Looks like a good trip out Chiz, but possibly on this picture, you might have needed to stand on a box or ladder or something?
That strip in the middle of the visor is water that got in there on day one... It's a mega expensive agv e tint and no way of getting it out.. Fortunately my head is a bit like the of a t rex so it don't obscure my vision too much.. When I get to Italy I might find agv hq and give em a piece of some ones mind...
Hmmm... Petrol 20 cents a litre cheaper here than France.. more money Brittany ferries should give me!!!
And that is what the Scrambler is all about. It's not a sports bike. It's not an adventure bike. It's not an off roader. It's just a simple bike, that looks retro and is fun to chuck around. If you want any more than that then it's not for you.
I think I spoke to soon... I'm not going to say I'm in love with this bike... in fact I feel dirty even admitting this. . But I just had one of the most euphoric rides I've ever had I'm my life....so much so that 20 mins on I still have goose bumps!!! I've riden faster,better,been more scared on more powerful/ less powerful, better/worse handling bikes, but that last 30 miles when I pulled out of the service station and on to the n240 was fucken mind blowing.. I can't explain it... I guess a combination of sunshine, dry roads, the scenery and the 240... the scrambler must take a lil credit here.. it's not my cuppa but right now I could shag it!!! I'm drunk on life right now.. But it's a bit like pulling a fatty whilst drunk and falling in love... unfortunately you sober up!!! For any one who has not riden the n240, 're access your priorities in life... I've riden A lot more of it in the past and I know there are even better bits than what I rode today (That should not be possible!) But I think today, riding solo, I wasn't distracted by what the other guys were doing.. No one to show of to.. Just boy sized man, boy sized man sized bike and epic road
Don't have any pics of 240... it's one of those, you would stop so often to take pics of it's stunningness that you might as well walk it.. Got about 15mins of go pro but battery died...
