  1. yep - wide bars means its easy to chuck around....plus one thing about the hyper that never fails to impress me is that no matter how hot the weather no matter how still you are in traffic the temp never ever budges above half way....the rsv4 in traffic is like riding a bbq....

  3. Haha ironically the only time I've seen the inside of A&E lately, I was behaving myself and not going fast. Trying to decide what the best lesson to learn from that is......:)

  4. So does this mean we can launch fat ones of the speed bumps in the 20 mph zone in the town centre or they'd rather we didn't?

  5. i think its a great example of the shoit that some people come out with after the event....

  6. Nobody was hurt. What is it with the Scots? Why so authoritarian these days? Is it socialism, or was it always like that?

  7. How about repeated circuits of our favourite roundabouts to practise knee-downs. Is that allowed if we promise not to wheelie on the way out?

  8. dont think you
it wasn't a personal judgment on his riding/driving style. trust me i am in no position to be criticizing, i probably accumulated more points on my license before i was 30 than most do in there life time, and got away with a lot more (by not being caught). i have found up here they a totally raj when dealing with motorist/bikers when it comes to driving offenses. i like to think on the whole i am pretty chilled and unaggressive when dealing with the police, but still i get/got hammered. i have even been given 6points for pushing a bike at the side of the road to name just one. i could still lose my license easily every day during the summer. but it wont be for doing 60 in town, on one wheel.
i have had a go at one particular person on here, but he came across as a proper ass hole a day after my wife and kids where nearly injured/killed at the start of the season by the usual suspects, fast roads, poor ability/lack of knowledge.

  9. Mounted police trained for riot control. Pretty hardcore. Look up "kettling", and see what they do with protestors.

  10. look up rioting and see what they do to other peoples property......

  11. Look up riot shields and see how they pin three young girls against the fence at hyde park and then batter them with truncheons.

I can compete with you on points before I was 25 @finm

  12. dude i was on 12+ when i was 19
i had two licenses, i little trick i learnt.
one with my middle name one with out.
    had nine on my other.
been clean now for about 20years.

  13. 12+? lightweight

  14. +6.
didn't need to be rodgerd by big vern who was in league with the wardens to learn my lesson.

  15. 1. Not a sensible place to be pulling wheelies, but the road was pretty empty and he seemed to be pretty good at it... No harm done...
    2. Plod seemed to at least have a sense of humour - maybe being a bike-rider himself he knew that it wasn't really such a big issue. Maybe he just didn't want to do the paperwork - either way, the guy was lucky to not get in the poo...
    3. The way the Mail report it is predictable - the story goes on about roaring engine and the dangerous stunt pulled by a thrill-seeking rider - typical stereotyping from "outraged of middle England".
    4. The utter bo**ocks spouted by the people who have commented on the Mail's page is annoying/amusing/irritating in equal measures. One halfwit goes on about him being charged with "undue care and attention" - I think he probably means "without due care and attention". Most of the people who have commented are exactly the sort of idiots that get their view of the world from the ( biassed ) tabloid media...
