Another cautionary tale

  1. I had my 999S ripped clean off my garage floor. Ground anchors, thick chains the lot. At the time it was worth about 7.5k. When I called the cops they didn't even visit me for a butchers at the crime scene. I just got a ref. number for insurance reasons. A rep from the insurance company was soon out going over the crime scene and giving me 20 quick fire questions.

Here's the best bit. I received a questionaire from plod about 3 weeks later relating to my case. I remember one fuck witted question asking me if I felt my ethnicity had any bearing on the way police had handled things.... FFS, grrrr... etc.

  2. I am a journalist. The Mail would only be interested if I suspected asylum seekers or gypsies had nicked it. Bikers only come one notch a I've them in its eyes. And as for my MP, Zac Goldsmith, the Eco-warrior, I don't think he has any affection for petrol heads and he's too busy saving the world and counting his billions to get involved I suspect.

  4. a witness was quoted as saying 'where the f#ck is my bike' and 'it must have been communists as its red'

  5. Or:

"Gypsies have finally moved into the 21st Century. They have given up horse-dealing in favour of equipping themselves with motorbikes, by whatever means necessary.

'Horses are so last century", said a gypsy spokesman yesterday, 'bikes are now where it's at - especially Ducatis'".
