Another Ebay Shark

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by Richie Rich, Aug 25, 2014.

  1. I'd say always check with rapido first for genuine part prices and numbers then you know whats what before buying off ebay (providing the goods match the description if and when they arrive!) I've had very few problems and have spent 10's of thousands on ebay on all manner of stuff over the last 10 years. Been stung slightly twice but only to the tune of 50 quid or so.. Maybe I'm lucky... I like to think savvy :Cigar:
    But probably just lucky... :)

  2. No one is forced to buy it.

To some people the hassle of not going to have to fetch one and it arriving by post the next day is worth a lot more than the extra £5. Hardly a rip off.

  3. I think you'll find that there's a certain person who frequents quite a few forums that does exactly that, and has even been selling these genuine bargains on here where they were lapped up!

  4. Hi,
Is the butter dish still for sale?

  5. I didn't want to say really, but I bought it :upyeah: had to pay double evidently due to the amount of interest! But well happy

  6. That's about as blatant as it gets. £39.99 helmet + 99p stickers = £159.99. Having said that take a £4.99 T shirt put a Ducati logo on it and sell it for £55!, that's what Ducati's been doing for years, so can blame aspiring entrepreneurs for wanting to get in on the act by filling the gaps in the market. So here we have the Ducati watering can in limited edition 'Matrix' green. Offers over £50 for this guaranteed future collectors item. :D
