Got a few things sorted on the weekend. The first was to drop the forks back through the yokes. The previous owner, being on the racey side, had dropped the yokes right down so thay they were a good 15mm below the last line on the forks. Yikes. No wonder it was feeling a bit "tippy" in slow corners. So I borrowed a mates engine hoist and had the job done in 10 minutes. If the body panels are anything to go by, these bikes are ace to work on. 4 fasteners for each side and 4 screws on the nose. Brilliant. Next up was fitting a remote charging point for the Optimate. Dead easy. And after that was a full clean and putting on the stickers that were lost when the bike had the carbon side panels fitted. Yeah. I love the look of the wheels. And those radial Brembos are incredibly effective. In fact, I love the whole thing. Without a shadow of a doubt the best bike I've had.
