although the elise is a prettier car than the VX...both are hell as a daily driver though, and the elise is only really fun for a bit of b road blasting..shame really my mate had a TVR Tamora..a bit girly looking but a monster to drive...fkn scary though mostly. i darent go anywhere near the limits because of the reputation theyve got...which basically means someone in a sporty Focus will be up your chuff... I fancied a T350 with a view to getting one in 18 months or so, but the fact its plastic really puts me off..ok, so its an animal, but it wont inspire confidence like the subaru, or feel as special as the 993..what worries me about the 993 is finding a good, straight one, and the fact that these are old girls now..My mate only does about 4k a year with his, but its lots of short journeys and the running costs are astronomical...im sure its because it never gets properly warmed up...i'd say he's spent a good 4 grand in the last two years at the local indie...she's just gone in again for an exhaust..clutch went (£1200) last year and he had to have the windscreen scuttles done (£700), but that can run into two grand if the roof has to be resprayed... Still, its an itch i want to scratch, and i loved my supersport, even if it was a bit of pig to drive..which..it was.
nah the elise has a front end like a goldfishes face. a big gaping mouth and too roundy curvy but there again I think a panigale is fuck ugly too. must be me haha. just had two good insurance quotes for a type r and an m3. a lot less than i thought considering a slight bump I had last year
