Scala G9. Excellent bit of kit, it certainly relieves the boredom on long journeys, and makes riding in convoy much safer too - I regularly use it with other mates who all have G9s.
I've heard this from a friend who had it happen as well. Ive not had it rain enough to tell. My only thought is the weak link appears to be the usb charging connection so i am ensuring that the plug is pushed in. Time will tell on this one. i used vhf before and it was shite, once over 40 it picked up much external noise, icom stuff is great and throat mikes perfect, the biggest thing that impressed me with scala was the noise cancelling mike. I absolutely guarentee you can have a phone call at 90mph no issues. I would go as far to say its better than the OEM land rover car hands free. The only thing the wife says is it sounds like the mike is sometimes too close to mouth but is perfectly clear. The radio reception is good , but i haven't found the RDS works well , may well be me , but i listen away , if reception gets bad, hold top button and tune to next station. Too me this and ultimate ear have really improved my bi weekly 3hr ride.
Sena SMH 10's are very, very good kit. You can talk between 4 of you as well as listen to music, satnav directions etc.
