I've done over 11,000 miles on my 2013 Skyhook model - no problems. OK there is a mark on the fork leg where the brake lines/cable bundle has rubbed away the grey paint and the main stand clunks into the cat because the rubber pad burns up after a couple of hundred miles. I found the seat uncomfortable so I ended up buying a Sargent seat. I had a 2010 model for nearly 3 years, 17,000 miles, which did let me down a couple of times because the battery discharged very quickly. The first time this happened I was in Spain and used the Ducati Card to get someone to come out with a jump pack. I then invested in set of lightweight jump leads which I carried under the seat, I only I had to use them once. Looking back, I think there was something wrong with the battery which I should have tried to get a sorted under warranty. The 2010 model also had all the normal recalls plus the rockers were replaced at the 2 year / 15,000 mile service as the dealer noticed excessive wear when checking the valve clearances. At the same time, they also replaced the suspension ECU as it had logged some errors. Would I buy another Multistrada - yes, I've put a deposit down on a 2015 model.

I have a late 2013 Non ABS 1200,I've had a forkseal go in the first month, which could be explained as being a one off, and that's it! Even the back brake works! Never failed me. Been a fantastic experience so far and I still have a year to go on the PCP. Happy days
My only warranty fault was a 'Gear Drum Selector'. Bike would drop into neutral when hard acceleration in 2nd gear. Repaired under warranty. Fitted the full Termi system and even the rear brake works. Sold it nearly 12 months ago.
Well I'd hope there'd be more good news replies, as I too have just bought one , a 13 gt . Chuffed to bits with it , roll on summer . About to get it treated with acf50, has anybody else had this done ?.
Done what? Sprayed ACF50 on there bike? Pretty much everyone. There is good news bud, in-spite of these little niggles your gonna love it.
2011 16k been great in the 12 months I've had it. Until today, got caught out by the faulty sidestand switch! Nearly got bucked off going through some twistys!! But having already read about it here, was a quick and easy fix.
