On nights and its a little quiet so looking at weather forecasts, hope it picks up through the Pyraness in the next few weeks. This late Spring and beast from the east is not looking great so far. Fingers crossed eh. :worried:

On nights again, that weather is picking up, 17-21 currently in the pyranees, I reckon another week away yet, we could be ok ?? Fingers crossed lads... ;)

  4. Well the weather is pants down here in the West Country but I am going stir crazy so I'm off out for a ride on Easter Monday (the only day I can do this weekend). I've got waterproofs and heated grips on my Africa Twin so what the hell. It'll be a good shakedown for Spain :)

  6. I got two nights then back up to Cornwall till the trip
Me too mate, the only day I can see being a biggy is Jaca to Barça, but if time pushes on, we can always take a short cut. I've done Santander to Barça in a day through a similar route and still arrived by 5 ish pm, think this way may be a little longer, but from Jaca down is still doable in one decent days ride.

  7. What’s the average time in the saddle each day

  8. Not huge mate, I think the average is a couple of hundred miles, so guess about 4 or 5 hours, but will work it out on nights tonight and try and give you a better idea Andy. :upyeah:

  9. Sounds good. So no need to set off a sunrise each day then? And time for lunch...

  10. Imho setting off before 10 means it’s not a holiday, it’s a chore.

  12. True that. Hope the rest of the crew is on the same page! That said I don' want to sit round till lunch time either!

  13. Well maybe 9... I could do 9...

  14. 9 is reasonable, then fuel up and off. Or fuel on way back, so leave at 10 and straight onward. But then I tend to be testing the local brews until after 1200....

  15. Yes , I have a bit of a beer tooth as well. And wine... no point going to another country and not trying the local booze...

  17. There's only one big riding day chiz, from Jaca to Barça, that's a 300 miler, on the Wed, but it's only one and it's an epic road. The one in the video above.

  18. Do we need to carry our own ratchet straps for the ferry

  19. No mate, the crew lash them down. :upyeah:
