I’ll be flying into Gatwick on Sunday. The more important question is where can I get a proper breakfast with black pudding near the airport.
I have to agree with Advikaz. The news is complete pathetic fiction. I’ve flown in and out of Heathrow, Stanstead and Gatwick recently and have had no problem at all. Other than the wife insisting we got to Heathrow so early the check in for our flight wasn’t even open. I had hand luggage only so I didn’t need to check anything in. So that’s a normal male female thing. I returned to Gatwick on 15/04. There…were…no…problems…at…all! There was however a long queue at passport control in Malaga but that was because two UK flights disgorged at the same time and three slow moving Spanish passport control officers were more interested in chatting to one another. From all the evidence in posts here it shows what a sad state of affairs the British News/media has become. In short don’t believe a thing you hear on the news until you’ve further investigated. Which you have here. Well done everyone on here for giving a more rounded picture.
Couldn’t agree more. The media will have you quaking in your boots. Ignore it and get on with your life. The shitfest is all but forgotten here in the US. Which is a good thing. Anyone listening to what the media says after the last two years needs sectioning.
