managed a trip to Normandy and back this afternoon  on an ultra-rare 450 Monster to begin with, but reverted to two cyl at Guildford and so carried on - lovely blue sky. Saw a newer red Monster with large '46' on tank near Puttenham around 2 pm.
Took mine out on Monday. Still having to recalibrate my brain to what the Multi is capable of. Came over a ridge in the road that i have ridden over a multitude of times to find the front wheel pawing the air in 3rd. Spent the next hour laughing like a loon. Truly magic moment.
yesterday was so lovely and had a great ride in the sunshine - such a shame about the circumstances bike is now off the road for a bit while the exhaust is done - but snow is forecast for next week so not too worried Spring will soon be here
me out today - to work and back - M25 is not so good, but m40 is always brilliant in the morning ! loving it same here, have a termi to fit. have got xmas vouchers for 20 hrs at the Oval motorcycle centre in london where you 'learn' to do your own mechanics and use their facilities. so thats my project in the next few weeks - trying not to break my own bike by fitting the termi. bugs
I really must give them a ring, I'd like an experienced mechanic looking over my shoulder when I tackle a full service, in particular valve clearances.
Md racing in Walton on Thames charge £45 per hour however he charges "book time" and not actual. So preparing a bike does not get it any cheaper. He's lost a customer recently; me. Not bothered, so he must have loads who are satisfied.
