Neil Hodgson was there? Nice to know there is a dry clutch being tested though, was it one of you lot who asked? And that is a very different front frame too.
Frame is the same. Just painted to match the swingarm and subframe. About bloody time they ditched that awful silver finish. I'm tackling the same job on my front frame and swingarm (though not black but colour matched in magnesium) but it's a mahoosive undertaking. Be interesting to see if the mounting points for the mid fairings and nose fairing are the same as on the stock V4/V4S. Still not a lover of the winglets.
Learnt yesterday that the actual exhaust in the 2019 Akrapovic Race exhaust kit that fits all variants of the V4 is no different to this year’s exhaust. The V4R requires a slightly different fixing kit which I have yet to find out if available separately. Also noticed MR are offering 15% discount on the race system if pre ordered with your new V4. na....its the tank, the way the fairings meet the tank and the seat/rear end... that and if it was blue it could be an r1.... probably a fantastic bike but it dont punch my clock...
agree re: fairings meeting tank chizel and it's personal of course, but that looks like a marginal improvement appearance-wise to the same fairings on the earlier V4.
Nope, I spoke to one of the Moto Rapido engineers prepping this bike for race next year. Confirmed that the frame is machined differently for weight saving and different torsional rigidity characteristics.
