Thanks everyone, I was away with work for a couple of weeks so couldn't get the time to try it. Torx hammered in worked a treat and now have Exact start cables fitted. What a difference, starts on the first push. What a nightmare putting it all back together again was though, the electrical system on a 749 is like repacking to come home from holiday. It never seems to fit back in! Cheers everyone for your help.
