I haven’t asked but should there be a new RS for 2026 with the chassis and suspension updates the 2025 PP got ? Andy
Bound to be, now that I've bought a 2025! I did ask the dealer, they said they haven't heard about it yet, and if it does come, it won't be until the end of the year at the earliest. The 2025 is Euro 5.5, so is the latest version. If your dealer says differently, let me know! Edit - I don't think the 2025 Pikes Peak got any suspension or chassis updates did it? I was looking at one on Saturday, and other than the plastics, the only difference was different graphics in a couple of the riding modes. Which could probably be done via a software update. As the RS has only been out just over a year, they'd be pissing a lot of people off if they refresh it so soon; I'm sure Ducati normally wait around 3 years before they update models, don't they?
@Multirider75 top purchasing skills! I don’t think you’ll regret this, they’re essentially the same bike with different power delivery. I look forward to hearing and seeing all about it!
I bought my RS because I wanted it, it was my Birthday present & will likely be the very last bike I own. I still have my 1260S (equipped with Rapid Bike) but it's an entirely different animal (like an angry beast) than the V4 RS. I have full systems on both but I did it to maintain performance as well as drop a considerable amount of weight. I've never owned a PP but did own a S1000XR (with a full system) and loved it ( even if you had to be turning 10k rpms). The RS is more quiet than my 1260S or my S1000XR was........ Maybe it's just me but I like full systems!!!!
