Your profile pic is of a bunch of bikes sat outside Mr Petty's establishment - perhaps you've been clobbered with a profile pic surcharge of some sort.
Curious story. Somehow I get the feeling you have omitted half the story and some relevant facts, including the actual sums of ££ involved. If you do something to piss him off and waste his time, he may well charge you for an extra hour.
I work for Ray. All the work carried out was agreed. This customer loitered the entire time it was being done. Ray helped him with his initial purchase of what turned out to be a pretty shabby Panigale. Ray rearranged the diary commitments to accommodate him, and his need for an urgent MOT. It failed. The back indicator wasn’t compliant. The necessary work was undertaken to have it pass - as agreed - and then he didn’t want to pay his bill. Ray refused to hand over his key and received all manner of threats and shouting. Ray walked away and Ray’s assistant mechanic reduced the bill to simply get rid of him. Ray realised he left some parts behind and held on to them for leverage. He returned to collect them and spent twenty minutes screaming, threatening and abusing on the doorstep before he finally paid the balance of his account and had his parts returned to him. All this for the grand sum of £330.60. The customer is NOT always right … in the head!
Ok before this ends up as a slagging match thread closed and moved to wasteland. If you want to argue the toss, then please do it face to face and not here.
