  1. Well...I've chucked a first coat of primer on and its mostly covering. Next step rub most of it off then apply a couple of coats properly, hoping its a little warmer first. But repair seems to have covered. Going to try plasti kote spray this time

  2. How do you get everything to stick to the ceiling like that?

  3. It'll be cheaper to post it to Argyle!

  4. Funny thing is i'm in Edinburgh, and driving, this Thurs but alas cant take van as sales calls on way

Aww Brads I thought you were going flat tracking , If you need a shorter seat height then you need to go with something like mine here , or you need to stick some usd forks from a sports bike on it . :upyeah:.

  6. That was the plan, but space and time wont permit and tbh fixing up my track bike reminds how much i hate this stuff, and how crap i am at it!!

And the money will be put into a Bazzaz ;-)

  7. Hi - is the DR still available - not for me - my mate who I work with was just about to go through all of his bike test stuff and was looking for something cheap and cheerful once he's passed....And more to the point - where in the world are you?

  8. Yes, and I am in Hampshire.

  9. OK- got any more pics atall - is that how it looks now or a couple of years ago:smile:

  10. I'm away until tomorrow night, I'll drag out the garage on Sat and take some pics

  11. Cool - thanks very much.

  12. Here we go some pics from 10 mins ago. Battery too flat to turn over, but all lights working as they should. Reckon it would fly thru a mot. Rusted bots and chain needs a lube, clean and adj but tbh you can get one for £30 so easier to change. Have std front sprokect, its down one on front, plus bash plate and set of fork seals as one was see
ing a little when I last used it

The stuff on the tank is blue roll, where petrol was spilled and alas the lacquer didn't hold and as I tried to clean it off the roll stuck to the tank.

  15. Nice do you actually race them , I race mine once , the day this pic was taken . The front brake is still on as I entered in the motocross class , never having raced on grass ( we grass tracked) or a proper flat track oval. I figured it would be safer than going up against proper sliders. Cool though and great fun but my skill level isn't much to be honest , Id love to come over to the mainland if you can flat track like you can a trackday
    Regards Pete.

  16. Hi Peter, yes i race it where are you based?you can do a track day send me a pm if you would like more info.

  17. Ah mate this is the problem I'm stuck on a rock in the English channel (Guernsey) but I'd love to know more about giving it a blast round a track , this poxy island is so small there is nowhere available to practise the noise police would be straight on you.

  18. So its still here and I need the cash for some work on my gixer. Anyone want it? Please no more messers!

Come have a look and take it away. Reckon an hour with carbs off n clean and charge battery and she'd fire up lovely :)
