Anyone With A 3d Printer?

Discussion in 'Hypermotard' started by Jackyboyhyper, Dec 24, 2024 at 11:36 AM.

  1. Slight hijack - sorry. Am thinking of fitting these to my Triumph scrambler - are they easy to fit?
    Thanks

Yes, iirc I had to crimp the wires together with female and male connectors. They are not plug and play for the front (at least not for my model) And make sure you get the right size for your forks. Email them first if you have too and they'll make sure it's the right size.

I will be getting a mate to do a proper job of it later in the year but they work perfectly fine and are super bright

  2. I have a 3d printer and could easily knock some out if you have a file. Otherwise it’s a little more involved but not a massive issue. You would need to either take some very precise measurements/ do a proper technical drawing, or get the part to the person doing the CAD work. If you are anywhere near me (a few miles North of Birmingham) I would be happy to help.

  3. That's great, I'll keep this in mind then, perhaps I could post the handguards to you if i don't like the outcome of painting the lens?

I'm colchester so a bit of a distance away

  4. That would work. The 3d printing process is generally the easy part, it’s getting the design spot on that takes the time and I am a mere amateur on the CAD front. It’s an amazing process though and brilliant for small jobs like this
