  1. Another thank you to Tesco for keeping the riffraff out of Sainsbury’s on a regular basis.

  2. To your first post you probably feel like you’re in the way on account of your advancing years…..

Amazon are trying to break into the online delivery service.

Ocado are possibly the closest to what you’re describing as they have no stores just the warehouses dotted around the country.

Sainsbury’s also have a set up in London only that is just a CDC no customers on premises at all, they were running around 250 vans from there.

  3. I still buy all my meat barring chicken at the butchers (one of life’s pleasures!) and all my bread at the local bakers (lucky to have both in our small town still).

I shall not be moved unless I’m moved by other people’s actions which is my main beef as explained earlier to Duc Bird.

Sadly I always seem to be in the minority and I always get out voted/consumered.

I fear the same will happen many more times in the future as a consequence!

  4. Shopping in an old school butchers is a real treat. So many great things to see, buy, then eat.

  5. It really is one of life’s simple pleasures isn’t it, along with a hot sausage roll and a freshly baked bloomer from the bakers.

  6. Tescos bread on the other hand is revolting.
