Hats off to Alvaro in the last race, those lap times were something special to watch. he is a bit of a nob but you can't deny his skills.
when he rides like that it’s hard not to watch, he’s so loose, but in a sort of floating way. It’s amazing, I can’t believe he made a tyre last the race spinning it the way he was. I bet toprak was sat behind thinking he would just burn the tyre away, but he didn’t
I've seen next to nothing on the WSB scene this year but watching the second rerun race a little earlier this evening was majestic by that bloke with the funny hair, let's hope he stays for a couple more years riding like.!
Alvero showing when the bike gets lighter he performs better. It’s a shame they have ruined what would be a great racing year between him and toprak with the weight penalty. That last race was incredible: lap record on last lap when not under pressure?! Crazy
So let me get this straight Pecco being smooth as silk (if not silkier) with next to zero overtakes - “boring” Alvaro being smooth as silk with absolutely zero overtakes - “a joy to watch” Haha make it make sense please.,..
completely different thing.. Pecco isn’t why MotoGP is boring (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve not seen anyone say Pecco is boring, maybe it’s in a thread somewhere) I certainly haven’t. but Alvaro is smooth in the sense he’s not throwing his body and legs around all over the place but he’s so loose on the bike. he’s backing it in right the way to the apex, really pushes the front, then he stands the bike and spins the rear almost from the apex out of the corner, it’s lovely to watch. There are even bits where he aggressively spins the bike to almost make it suddenly stand up
