Think Bradders missed a large part of my point. It aint if he or me think it right for m'bikes to use the bus lanes its the fact that big tax payer money was spent on research and the findings were that it is a good thing. Obviously we cant have a referendum on every decision to be made but what we can expect is that when our elected morons use our money to line the pockets of these very expensive and "necessary" consultants they are or should be obliged to follow the findings and not make their own minds up about how to go forward...
So the 3 year trail in south london that showed less m'bike accidents when they were allowed the use of bus lanes was incorrect and your observations whilst driving at stupid speeds through a subway/cycle lane make more sense.... ok
