848 Are Zard Exhaust Any Good?

Discussion in '848 / 1098 / 1198' started by charliem749, Aug 12, 2014.

  1. Found a set of akra's on eBay :upyeah: does anyone know if I will have to get the Ecu re-flashed or if they will work with the standard Ecu & filter?

  2. good for you! you'd have thought so but i remember someone saying they didn't???

let's see what @bradders has to say. he had some on his evo. they did look the business! ;)

  3. Of course the bike will run. However I suspect it will run lean and be jerky on the throttle. This is what happened with my cans on my monster. Ended up having it mapped by cjs. Made it a different bike.

  4. You'll be fine. Mine was. Ideally get at least a simple DP flash. But I didnt. CJS did mine eventually, and took a DP flash from 131 to 139 on an evo

  5. I didnt find that. It ran fine, a little cough occasionally on off/on throttle type activity but no issues

  6. So I should be fine running them with the standard Ecu for now and eventually get mine re-flashed? How much is a re-flash?

  13. Cheers mate :) I've noticed a change in the rev range, seems to be sitting about 500 rpm higher at the same speeds as with the standard cans! Has anyone else found this with slip on's?
