Great cars How come it was so cheap?(I’m assuming it was cheap). Every one I’ve seen seems to be doing strong dough. * just saw ‘new’ what deals they doing?? Anyhow, enjoy!!
I keep looking at bigger intercoolers, Y pipes and intake plenums…. I did it with my last one but vowed to keep this one standard. My last one was too torquey with the upgrades. Mental…
I agree. Who would think a 4 door saloon with a boot could achieve that sort of speed. The territory of truly supercars 30 years ago.
Dealers are knocking between £10-24k off them online. I found a dealer knocking off £24k, plus if you’re a current BMW owner, they’ll give an additional £3.5k discount, so I’ve got £27,500 off list price. There’s a new one coming in 2024, so maybe they’re clearing the decks ready, but that’ll have all sort of hybrid nonsense, and I want one without all that shite.
Right. My mate bought a new M6 a few years back. He got shit tons knocked off that too. And it’s just a well, he took a right old bath with it. M5 much better residuals I believe. If you want a bang for buck mental fast saloon, look no further than a tidy M6. If you can see past the front end…
I know this is the Aston thread but as you’re talking M cars, my mate has just bought himself this for his 50th. It was in stock so I assume a decent discount, I never asked. Not everyone’s taste but in the flesh it’s gorgeous.
Insurance renwal day yesterday, four digit premium this year but agreed value with up to 50% increase if the worst happens and I have to spend more to get an equivalent spec/mileage replacement. Dosen't help that I have to keep it on the driveway overnight as well. But at least I've got another year of quality motoring to look forwards to
Seems hefty. But I guess if it’s sat on the drive the underwriters will deem it slightly risky. 911 turbo S for me and Mrs Cringe (both 3 points) £540. A lot of people SORN through winter but I like to keep all documentation live. You get some glorious, crisp winter days and a pair of turbo’s love some chilly air
Replacement value would be hefty (6 figures) which I think is the bulk of it but I also get fully comp on other cars, breakdown/recovery choice of repairer if needed etc etc. Undoubtedly cheaper if kept in a garage but it's too big plus the garage is full of bikes.
If only, I'm nearly a pensioner on the breadline and the 6 bikes in the house will have to be sold eventually if I'm to stay out of the workhouse.
My insurance is 450 a year 31 years old and I’ve got the missus on it who’s had a history of shunting every car she’s owned Cheaper to insure than my van
Sounds like a fair deal , I paid £972 last year and a chunk more this year but I have to leave it on the driveway and I've covered it for what it owes me.
Cleaning day, spent several hours going over all the leather (there's a lot of it) then windows inside and out and finally a polish up on the paintwork.
