Well I think I've found a suitable donor bike, fingers crossed I win it on eBay... a couple more parts have arrived too An S4R Monster swingarm, its a complete unit including rear brake and speed sensor so hopefully I can use it to work around the speedo issue with swapping the front end... and a set of 848 Brembos courtesy of Nelson I'm on the hunt for a set of 848 forks with triple clamps if anyone knows of a set going? the only ones I can find on eBay are from the states and the shipping on them is crazy...
You defo want digi speedo display? I used the mechanical drive 916 speedo and cable with the 848 forks/916 wheel. You just need to file/grind a tiny bit of the drive housing plastic away...
I've just won this bad boy on eBay, its the other end of the country but that just means a road trip!
or..... Pierobon x60r http://moto.pierobonframes.com/en/moto/moto-x60r-en.html something quite sexy about this....
just empting you with what you could of won..........make sure you are committed..........oh and how many threads do stay on track?
I've just googled it, £60k!!! thats a little over my budget  well this little beastie is on my drive now its in pretty good nick, a little tatty here and there and it has a weeping suspension seal but for a 14 year old bike i am happy with it
If by the bin you mean ebay then yes  I'm on a bit of a tight budget so the more I can make by selling parts I don't need on the better
Well here we go! I started the strip down today, it became obvious quite quickly that it was fairly bodgetastic, loads of different size bolts holding the fairings on and the electrics were full of extra connectors and insulation tape. Luckily this is all from stuff I'm binning and the mechanics were sound. It does seem Louigi built an overly complicated bike though, crazy bolt positions and loads of redundant connectors in the loom, it should be easy enough to strip the bits I don't need out of it though. I offered up the new tank and seat to see how much work the rear end will need. The seat unit will need lifting a bit to give that 'high arse' look it so desperately needs  although there will be a fair chunk of fabrication work it shouldn't be too difficult, all nice straight pieces and the tank mount seems to fall in a nice location too.
