The paint brush thing is all bollocks, it stemmed from the info put out by the Police a few days ago. They were wrong in giving that information and it has since been dropped.
i think its just like the toilet paper thing, lets buy everything whether we need it or not type situation... i dont know but i do know there is fuck all chance for builders to get what they need... but it is what it is. bit shit though as me and many others could carry on while sticking to the rules but are unable to... but tbh most of that is supply chain issues.. still like to give the diyer shit though!
The fella who did my garage is London based and said he’s not allowed to work. My neighbour hasn’t had his build start.
Here you can que at the shop too, very busy, only few people serving, they made bays in car park , you give them your order number then they go and try to find it for you......
I work for a small family run building company and this is my fourth week off. I think if they said we were going back Monday I would decline. Its not safe for me to be going in and out of various places picking stuff up, I think screwfix B&Q etc should all be shut.
Just try chiz, seriously can you not put a one man tent up in the van you know the festival shit ones but nice blow up bed warm bag etc ....I know it’s not ideal mate but little £15 camping stove etc etc it’s not ideal but if it saves 4 hrs commuting even do it every other day or once in 3 ?
