I've taken a step back.. not been on 2 wheels for over 10 years.. so have decided to get a mk1 Multistrada.. 1000DS S and as luck would have it I've found one.. 450 miles away in NI! lol cant wait to get it.. and if all goes well.. I'm getting an old 748 to turn in to a track only bike!
I had one of those as well, great bike, easy to ride. I had it 4 years, did 24,000 miles without a problem.....and then it started having problems, so sold it. Get a termi exhaust, ECU and mod the air box for a few more horses. A good all round bike......but i missed having a sportsbike so bought a 748R as well....so you will have the best of both worlds as well. Good luck.
