Hey! That's not very nice! Poor bloke's laid up all battered. Bad luck matey. Hope you get well soon. You look young and fit enough to be up and at it soon enough. Road or track??
Thanks for all the well wishes guys, it makes a huge difference to Sam knowing that everyone is thinking of him. He is still running a bit of a temperature today and is in some pain but we are quietly confident that the healing process is doing it's thing. He is in excellent hands and everyone is doing their bit. I'll keep you updated.
God almighty....truly awful news......good luck with your recovery Sam....best wishes and a speedy recovery!
Royal, please pass on my very best wishes to Sam. That truly sounds like an all too comprehensive job. I do hope the operations go well and he has a speedy recovery. The other Sam
As a separate aside, it seems quite a few on here thought that this was me. I'm glad to say it isn't but certainly wouldn't wish this kind of misfortune on anyone. The other Sam and I turned out to have very similar names in here as well. Him being Sam1199s and me being Sam1199. I'm sure everyone's wishes to him would be just the same....if not better than to me! I should have more stories to post on here soon. A speedy recovery to Sam 1199s
Doh.....Sorry for the confusion....I thought you looked different....wasn't sure if it was the drugs and which one was the patient in the photo, both looked rough.
Sams operation has been brought forward to this morning which is great news. He had a really good nights sleep and is looking forward to getting it done and being able to sit up which should help with further recovery. I'm back in London now but spoke with him briefly this morning and he sounded in good spirits. His Dad is with him so he's not on his own. Everyone is thinking of him and looking forward to the news that it has gone well
