  2. it's fine, just carefully remove "dust" plug. it's what you do after that that could result in bad - use a wooden or (preferably) plastic trimmer straight-bladed screwdriver and make sure you are very sensitive/careful in determining when you've come to a stop/full adjustment in either clockwise or ant-clock direction.

  5. Must be one of you guys has an idea of what it does ?

  6. Try the tech help section mate or it might get missed here.

  7. @Davyd
What is your question exactly, what do you mean by « adjusting this »? Can’t really see on that pic of your (P8?) ecu.

  8. In the video Rich points to the little white plug on ecu and remarks about it. So I wondered what does he do with it. And in relation to what,, if you get me drift.

  9. Davyd,

Read this when you have some time, and you will know everything there is to know about injection tune up, idle mixture setting and more, for a Desmoquattro. After reading it, I have started doing it myself on my bikes (916). It changed everything…

  10. It's a trim setting. In layman's speak if you twist it you move the whole fueling map; up, or down. It's definitely not something to mess with unless you know what you're doing. Most running issues are sorted elsewhere

  11. Ok thanks for the answers guys. And the link guillaume I will have a read if only to help me understand. But it’s probably best left to the experts not me.

  12. @Davyd It’s actually been really well written by Brad, and if you are mechanically minded, you will truly enjoy reading this.

  13. Always makes me chuckle when you go to a classic car meet or bike meet and you speak with the Owner who has just restored his Pride and joy only to admit what garage did all the work.. :joy: As an X panel beater i do so enjoy then saying so you didn't restore it then.. someone else did you just paid someone...
