Thanks for that. I'm surprised customs don't check a package as large as the fairings will be, do let us all know how you get on please.
We will see, I had rather large and heavy stuff before. Wallpaper weighing 15 kg or so for example and got away with it. Worst case it's a extra 20 percent or so. Tariffs depend on what it is and the customs list is vague and difficult for the layman. We will all becone experts come January when all this applies to EU imports.
Thought I'd give an update as I received the fairings back from the plastic welder today. Will have to try and paint them, but here's the before and after shots: He did some reinforcing to prevent any further mishaps: On the bike it looks a wee bit rough, but after paint should be able to live with it. Cost was $125 in case anyone's wondering.
