Ducati must have a clue of his chances based on his testing times, I wonder how fast he has been on the bike in the background, makes you wonder do they know something the rest don't!
Was MS testing F1 in the back ground/while retired? I.e is TB out of touch? I rekon someone must know he stands a chance? and IF he has been testing the whole time then hay what are his times?? It exciting wondering how he will go....
mS was driving, not sure how competitively. TB has been testing and part of the development and working with the team. Pernsonally I dont think they expect him to do as well as some here, but he can test race pace for sure and give them time to find a stand-in for the next round. New bike, new year
Well I like to hype it up a little maybe it's just the excitement of the racing season is about to get started! Hell yeah!
I remember when Bayliss came back to racing in 2004/2005 at the ripe age of 40+ people said it was a gimmick but he proved everyone wrong, he is my hero
As has been said, he is still racing and winning in other 2 wheel disciplines and has been a driving force with the development of the 1199 and maybe even the 1299. My money`s on him getting a podium at least Ducati could have asked other riders BUT he is still a favorite of the factory so it`s a no brainer for them and will no doubt get even more good press coverage than any other rider this weekend. Marinelli is no mug either and knows what his former rider`s ability .....enough said
Brilliant news and great publicity for Ducati and WSB. Phillip Island will sell loads of tix too. He last rode 1199 May '14 so shouldn't be too rusty. He asked to ride it as he's there doing dirt track event. If he gets top 10 he's done well imo. Roll on Friday, I'll be watching time sheets live.
Wow that's made my day Troy is my hero have his bike just love the guy I'm sure he is gonna win would sure upset a lot of people if he does
Hey it was over 10yrs ago my memory aint all that, but could have sworn they were billing him as 40 back in 2005
