I feel ur pain hopefully you will get it sorted There’s always the option of changing your bike if it is driving you crazy. Having a bike should be enjoyable not a chore.
Very interesting read this, My Gear Position sensor is knackered too, I think, I can select all the gears no worries but the computer will tell me other wise. Tells me I am in 4th when I am in 2nd etc, Will not find neutral, So I took it off cleaned it up and refitted it. Hoping this would cure it. but it didn't make any difference. So what do I do next. apart from the obvious. buy a new part. is there anything else I can do first before I get this part. new to the site. Cheers in advance
Have you re-set and re-learned the gear indicator? mate had the same problem last month and his bike ran terribly whilst it was not registering what gear he was in.
