Thanks again @Kirky for arranging this. Good run, well attended and no problems. Hope to see you next year sometime.
:Banghead::Banghead::Banghead: Damn, damn, damn simply couldn't get there - still it's not everyday a person is 35 is it?!** :Grumpy: Really disappointed that I couldn't be there with you all and equally the Air-Con couldn't make the trip either octor:, still sounds like it was a good day and I've had loads of fun on an incredibly slower canal barge, celebrating. Let's hope we might get a chance for a catch-up before Christmas :Stop:
It was a good day. Pity you couldn't make it. I understand canal barges are very exciting, and can actually go rather fast. And the locks are fun too! No speed cameras or hay lorries to get stuck behind either.
:Stop: I tell you what though, avoiding low flying herons on a canal barge is not easy and what grebes get up to in the reeds is nobody's business. Still they didn't have to look after bed-ridden, 'incomplete' people in foreign hospitals trying to convince some of the best looking nursing staff I've ever seen, to let this strange English bloke have some of his body parts removed, but hey, it's not every day..........:Bawling: :Brb:
:Bookworm: And thankfully neither am I and anyway, there are no solid white lines to cross or space for 'crap' overtakes on canals....just as well really :Inpain:
RR, Keffs knows I'm only 'messing' and that there are very few people that I would hang around in a foreign hospital with or for, for that matter....
And I would reciprocate, although I obviously hope there is never any need too. But if it was Rotaxracer, well........
